You have a conversation on Thursday and a PDF that does not sound like you. Every application reads the same now, because everyone is writing them with the same tools.
What we sell is not the PDF and it is not the website. We work through what you actually want, where that lives, who is already inside, and what you do when somebody finally picks up the phone. The page you send is one thing that falls out of that work, and it is yours to keep. The rest is us in it with you, for as long as you want us there.
If you are not looking to buy anything and you only want us to know you are open, that is the other thing we do and it is free. Tell us what you would take a call about, and we will come to you when a search fits. Nothing below is required for that.
None of this is complicated and almost all of it gets skipped, because when you are out of work the only thing that feels like progress is applying, and applying is the thing that does the least.
Most people cannot say it out loud. Bigger role or smaller company, more money or less travel, stay in the function or leave it while you still can. We make you rank it, and then we hold you to your own ranking when a flattering job shows up in month three that breaks every line of it.
A list of companies is not a strategy until you know the people in them and which of those people will take your call. We build that map with you and we keep changing it, because the first version is always wrong somewhere and you only find out by talking to someone.
This is where the page comes in, and the biography, and what the first three lines of your LinkedIn actually say. Not to look impressive, because everybody looks impressive now with the same tools, but so that a person reading it can tell there is somebody in there.
The screen, the second round, the number, and what they would ask you to sign. This is where thirty years of sitting on the other side of that table is worth the most to you, because we know what gets said about a candidate in the ten minutes after they leave the room.
You cannot control which of these turns into an offer. You can control all four of them.
Some people are not ready to work the whole thing through and they just need to stop sending a PDF that does not sound like them. One twenty minute conversation and by that afternoon you have a page you can send to anybody. No coaching attached to it and nothing for you to cancel later.
This is where the four things above actually get done, and the only real question is how long you want somebody in it with you. A page is finished in an afternoon but a senior search runs for months, so pick the length that matches where you are and you will know before you start exactly what is inside it. The longer windows cost less per month and you can always extend one.
We made ours first, from our own records. Open either one and you will see what you get.
Thirty years doing this work. Built the executive recruiting function at Whole Foods Market from one person to fifteen.
Twenty years leading recruiting teams inside large companies, at Amazon and Office Depot.
A search does not keep office hours. A recruiter calls on a Tuesday afternoon with fifteen minutes of questions you were not ready for. An email you sent three weeks ago finally gets an answer and now there is a conversation happening tonight. While your window is open, those are the moments we are here for. You reach out when one lands and we make the time, instead of it waiting for the next session on a calendar.
The page on its own includes the call, and you can come back with a question about it afterward. We are not going to charge you to answer a question.
Not us and not anybody else who tells you they can. What you are buying here is guidance. The strategy is yours to run, the conversations are yours to have, and the decision at the end is yours to live with. We sit next to you while you do it, with thirty years of reading these from the other side.
Applying for jobs is a rollercoaster. It goes quiet for three weeks and then four things land in one afternoon. A lot of what feels like rejection is timing you were never going to see from where you are standing. Knowing that in advance does not make it pleasant, but it does keep you from reading the quiet as an answer.
We will also tell you when something is outside what we do. There are parts of a senior search we are not the right people for, and you will hear that from us rather than finding out later.
What ends is our time with you. We stop making changes for you and the mapping stops getting refreshed, and that is the whole of it.
The page itself stays with you and so does everything we made. It is live and hosted at no cost for as long as you want it, every file is yours to put anywhere you like, and if you sat through the teaching session you can change it yourself, or build a whole new one, without asking us.
We are not the cheapest thing you can buy and we are nowhere near the most expensive. The first few lines are documents that somebody writes for you and then you are on your own holding them, which is a different purchase than this one. Here is the whole field anyway so you can place us yourself.

There is no cart and no calendar link to fight with. Send a note to hello@peopleatx.com saying what you are after, the page on its own or a window, and one of us writes back the same day with a time. If you are not sure which one fits, say that instead and we will tell you, including when the answer is that you do not need us yet.
